China mulling bid for 2018 Winter Games

Four months after successfully holding the Summer Olympics in Beijing, China is mulling a bid to host the 2018 Winter Games in the frigid northern city of Harbin, state media said on Thursday, quoting a government official.

Stop giving the Olympics to a country that sends us and other countries poisonous products and does not treat their citizens with respect. Olympians already had to suffer the terrible air there once why force them to do it again?

China never should have gotten the summer olympics. I think the Olympics commitee has realized the error in their ways and will never let China host a Tupperware party, much less the Winter Games.

Not only NO but HELL NO!!!

They used the Olympics to trick their own citizens into protesting in selected areas then arresting them. Two ladies in their late 80's were arrested and sent to prison for protesting about their housing.

It will be great for China to host 2018 Winter Games in the frigid northern city of Harbin. China is trying its best to take care of its people, not sure we could take the job since we have trouble to take care of our own. Easy to talk about others short!
